Angry Orchard
Angry Orchard’s cider makers spent 15 years experimenting at their home in Cincinnati with ‘hard’ cider. French bittersweet apples from Normandy and Brittany provide complexity and heady notes, drawing on a renowned cider heritage. These are blended with culinary apples from the Alto Adige region of Italy, which is famed for producing apples with a juicy, luscious ripe character. This combination of acidity and astringency gives Angry Orchard just the right ‘bite’ and since launching in 2011, it has become the number one cider in the U.S.
